How It Works
Most resurfacing devices rely on lasers or intense pulsed light. Tixel doesn't. It uses Thermo-Mechanical Action, or TMA — a medical-grade titanium tip that briefly touches the skin and transfers heat directly through conduction.
Those brief, precisely controlled pulses create a grid of microscopic channels in the surface of the skin. Your body responds the way it responds to any small injury: it goes to work repairing itself. That repair process ramps up your natural production of collagen and elastin, the two proteins responsible for firm, smooth, resilient skin.
The result is renewal driven by your own biology — not by burning or ablating tissue with a beam of light.
Why Non-Laser Matters
Because Tixel uses heat rather than light, melanin in the skin doesn't absorb the energy the way it does with laser or IPL treatments. That makes Tixel appropriate for all skin tones, and it can be performed year-round rather than only in winter months.
